The Spinnacker Tower which is 170mts high and cost £35.6 million, it only consists of 4 floors. We take the lift to the second floor where you can walk across the glass floor or marvel at the 23 mile stunning view. Head up to the next floor and treat yourself to a drink in the stunning café before making you way up to the last floor when you can say you have been to the top. Later we make our way to our boat for a harbour cruise. There is commentary about the history and the visiting ships. We meet later for our evening meal.
Castle Howard has been home to the Howard family for more than 300 years. Explore iconic architecture and beautiful interiors when you visit the House, including the Great Hall which rises 70 feet into the air. With 1,000 acres of parkland to explore, Castle Howard has extensive woodland walks, temples, lakes and fountains. There are breath taking views at every turn, taking in the Howardian Hills.
We take a flight on the hovercraft over to Ryde. The Hovercraft was established in 1965 and over 29 million passengers have travelled on the service. We have time in Ryde to explore this beautiful town and have a relaxing lunch or explore a little further afield before catching our flight back to Portsmouth.
There will be free time to explore at your leisure with your multi attraction ticket.. Why not take the ferry over to Gosport and visit the Falklands gardens or visit the submarine museum.
The Royal Maritime Hotel 3* has lovely rooms with en-suit, tea and coffee facilities and T.V. The hotel also offers a pool and leisure facilities. All profits this hotel makes goes to the Maritime Club which supports servicemen / women when they need extra help and support.
