We have a visit to Oxford Castle and Prison. On the tour you have the chance to go up St Georges Tower which is one of the oldest buildings in Oxford. At the top you have 360 degree panoramic views of the city. Descend underground into the 900 year old Crypt.

Chiltern Open Air Museum has around 30 rescued and re-constructed historic buildings. Explore the homes and work   places from the Iron Age through to WWII.

We visit the Milton Keynes Museum which is very hands on. It is a walk through time. There are furnished rooms  dating back to pre war along with a re-constructed  shopping street. There is also a communications museum and transport museum.
